Some of you may have heard about the crazy snowstorm that’s been going on in Western New York this week. Guess where I live The snow started Monday night, along with thunder and lightning, and it continued snowing through yesterday. We’re on our 4th day of being snowed in, with 50+ inches out there, and some areas have up to 7 feet! We typically get a lot of snow here in the winter, but I’ve never seen anything like this! Just this morning the maintenance crew was finally able to get to our apartment complex to start clearing out the parking lot. My husband and I spent over two hours today clearing off our cars as best we could, though we still aren’t supposed to be driving around (travel bans and such). It’s supposed to warm up and rain this weekend, which should help get rid of the snow, but then of course we’ll have flooding to worry about! Hope it all passes soon. I’m just thanking God my husband and I were both home safe for all of this, and that we've had enough food and supplies while we’ve been trapped inside.
